Many airlines are having sales today. Here’s a roundup:
American Airlines: 1.77 Cent Miles
American Airlines is offering up to 120,000 bonus miles for miles purchases made by Monday November 27, 2017. If you buy the largest amount possible, you can get the miles for as little as 1.77 cents each. We saw them on sale for 1.72 cents in July, so this isn’t even the best deal of the year.
Bonus miles are tiered based on how many miles you purchase. The best deal is to buy 150,000.
American Airlines miles cost 2.95 cents each plus a 7.5% excise tax, and every purchase has a $30 processing fee. The cheapest per-mile price comes from purchasing 150,000 American Airlines miles + 120,000 bonus miles for $4,786.88.
That works out to getting 270,000 miles for roughly 1.77 cents each.
Frontier: 90%* Off Airfare
Book today and Frontier is offering 90% off airfare on most nonstop domestic routes for travel Monday to Saturday, November 28 – December 19, by typing SAVE90 into the Promo Code box when searching. Besides the small travel window, the deal isn’t really 90% off the trip because you don’t get the discount on taxes or any of Frontier’s many fees.
For instance, tickets from Atlanta to Las Vegas are discounted roughly 65% total from $97 on Sunday to $34 on Tuesday in early December.
But you’d have to pay a lot more to carry on or check a bag.
Spirit: 90%* Off Airfare
Same deal as above by typing 90PCT into Promo box. Travel dates are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from December 5 to February 13, excluding December 19 to January 3.
Same caveats as above: it’s not 90% off the taxes, and Spirit also charges a ton for carry ons and checked bags.

Wizz Air: 20% Off Airfare
Wizz Air is a European low cost carrier that flies to all these destinations.
This is a great sale because all destinations and dates are included. Just do a normal search, and you will see the discounted prices.
Remember that Wizz Air also charges a hefty fee for checked bags, though a carry on is free.
Vueling: Fares from 15 euros one way
Vueling is a European low cost carrier based in Barcelona.
This sale lasts until Monday and is for travel December 11 to June 20. Search right on Vueling’s site with no promo code, and the discounted fares will be included.
Remember that Vueling also charges a hefty fee for checked bags, though a carry on is free.
