Video of My Ground Experience at Lufthansa First Class Terminal

In addition to my written trip report of my recent trip to the Lufthansa First Class Terminal, here is a video I shot, which shows the tarmac Porsche ride and the inside of the terminal.

Video of Me Hitchhiking in Patagonia (Argentina to Chile)

Last week, I flew from Buenos Aires to Rio Gallegos, Argentina with no intention of going to Rio Gallegos, Argentina. Instead, my plan was to walk out of the airport, stick my thumb out, and try to get a ride to Puerto Natales, Chile, where I met my friend to hike Torres del Paine National Park.

Why hitchhike last week?

It was a goal of mine to try hitchhiking once in my life.
Rio Gallegos airport is 3:22 driving from Puerto Natales, Chile.

My Disappointing Trip to the Lufthansa First Class Terminal

Update 1/1/17: I've added a video of the ground experience to the end of this post

Recently I flew from Croatia to the United States in Lufthansa First Class for 40,000 Starpoints + $300. Here’s how I booked the award.

Trip Report: Maraú Peninsula (Taipú do Fora & Barra Grande)

I spent the previous two weeks in the Bahia state of Brazil, an incredible region rich in Brazilian culture lined with endless beautiful beaches. The first week I stayed in Itacaré, a small fishing and surfing village with some of the best Brazilian food I’ve ever tasted. I wrote a trip report about my experience in Itacaré earlier this week. The second week I stayed about a 45 minute drive north of Itacaré on the Maraú peninsula, at a beach called Taipú do Fora that’s known for excellent snorkeling.

Trip Report: Itacaré, Brazil

I spent the past two weeks in the Bahia state of Brazil, an incredible region rich in Brazilian culture lined with endless beautiful beaches. The first week I stayed in Itacaré, a small fishing and surfing village with some of the best Brazilian food I've ever tasted. In this post I'll tell you about my experience there and share some pointers I picked up along the way.

Review: São Paulo Bradesco American Express Lounge

I am writing to you now from the beautiful state of Bahia, Brazil. If you've never traveled to this area I highly recommend it.

State of Bahia, Brazil

The coast is full of paradisiacal beaches, delectable seafood and spicy stews (the best of which in my opinion is moqueca), samba music, capoeira, and inland just a few hour drive from the Salvador airport is Chapada Diamantina, a national park and wonderland of plateaus, mountains, waterfalls, and limestone caves underneath it all where you can snorkel in the subterranean lakes and rivers.

Rich Travel / Poor Travel Web Series

A friend I met at a MileValue dinner has launched a funny web series about using miles to fly Business or First Class and then traveling on a shoestring once you arrive.

It speaks to me because I do the same thing; I remember my Emirates First Class chauffeur picking me up at my hostel in Auckland and flying Singapore First Class to Barcelona before my 5 euro bus to the city to couchsurf.

Here's the 90 second trailer.

Here's the first episode, flying EVA Business Class to Tokyo and then following the weird characters around;
