Do you have a debit or credit card issued by Citi?
More specifically, do you have a personal credit or debit card (not business), excluding the Costco and Chairman credit cards? If the answer is yes then you’re eligible for Amazon and Citi’s latest promotion: a four month free trial of Amazon’s premium music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited.
New users can get a free month trial any time. Citi and Amazon’s new deal is for a three month trial, but you can stack the two promotions for a total of four months. What Amazon equates as a three free months is actually $30 in credit toward an Amazon Music Unlimited Individual plan, and that costs 9.99 per month for normal Amazon members.
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, an Individual Plan actually only costs $7.99, so your $30 credit after the first free month will last until nearly the end of your fifth month.
How to Sign Up
- Find your Citi debit or credit card.
2. Navigate here. If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to sign into your Amazon account.
3. Click the Get started box.
4. Enter your Citi card details into Payment information
5. At checkout, if you don’t already see the discount applied (it should be), input the Promo Code “CITIMUSIC”.
6. Enjoy your free music.
Make sure you complete the above steps before the offer ends at 11:59 pm PT November 14, 2017.
Be Aware Your Account Will Auto-Renew After Four Months
Set an alert for yourself (personally I like to use the email alerts on Google Calendar, so I receive an email with a reminder the morning I need to do something) to change your Amazon account settings a little before four months out from when you sign up for this promotion. If you’re not sold on Amazon Music Unlimited at that point, you can unsubscribe. If you don’t unsubscribe, they will start charging your Citi card the standard monthly fee (7.99 for Prime members and $9.99 for non-Prime members).

- Must be a new Amazon Music Unlimited customer (cannot have an existing account)
- Must sign up by11:59pm (PT) on November 14, 2017, although another term reads “Offer good while supplies last” which leads one to think they could pull this promo at any time
