Singapore Krisflyer is promoting the airline's newest routes between Singapore and the United States with a sale on premium economy and Business award prices.

This is exciting because Singapore offers one of the best products in the sky and you probably already have access to Singapore miles via any of the major transferrable point types.

5/24 is a buzzword in the miles and points sphere. It refers to the fact that Chase will cut you off from eligibility for their credit cards once you’ve opened five credit cards from any bank in the last 24 months (not counting most business cards).

The cheapest level of Business Class award space on United--that is also the only kind of award space bookable with partner miles--is pretty wide open in the early winter months of Australia's winter, which is early summer in the United States. May and June 2019 have the most days available, and with a few scattered seats open in April, July, and August. All beds are fully lie-flat.

This is news because it's not common to see this many Business Class award seats open to Australia, a notoriously hard destination to get to with miles.

Yesterday Chase made it harder to get repeat bonuses on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card by changing the terms and conditions of the card offers. Previously, you were only eligible to earn the bonus on a Sapphire family card 24 months after you earned the bonus on a previous one.

You now have to wait four years instead of two between Sapphire cards to get a new member bonus.
